The Southern California fires continue to rage, things are slowly getting better, but in Los Angeles things are definitely out of control in the early days of 2025. More than 153,000 people have been evacuated from their homes for safety reasons. The county declared a public health emergency, citing the dangers of smoke and particulate matter.

A Texas resident, Michael Lewis, 55, was arrested in Indianapolis over the weekend for allegedly stalking Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. Court documents detail the disturbing nature of Lewis's messages, which included threats and sexually explicit content, culminating in his arrest at a hotel near the Fever's home arena.
