A resurfaced clip from the 2016 talk show Kocktails with Khloé has brought renewed attention to Sean "Diddy" Combs' controversial past, as Kourtney Kardashian recalled being "socked in the face" during his 2001 birthday party at TAO nightclub.
Speaking alongside Diddy and Kylie Jenner during the show, Kourtney detailed the incident, saying: "I got socked in the face cause I was waiting in line for the bathroom at TAO, which Diddy rented out the whole restaurant, and it was for his birthday." She explained that a woman cut in front of her in line, and when she asked her to wait her turn, the woman turned violent. "I was like, 'Excuse me, I'm next.' And she literally just went, like, boom right in the face," she said.
Kourtney, who was alone at the time, said she was left stunned by the attack. "I didn't know what to do. Nobody was with me. I was by myself." After the altercation, she went into a bathroom stall and cried before running out to find her sister, Khloé Kardashian. "Then I ran out, and I was like, 'Khloé, oh my God, what do I do?' And then we tried to find the girl," she recalled.
Khloé chimed in during the segment, saying her alter ego "Khlo Money" was ready to take action. "We've been known to party with you a few times," she told Diddy, referring to his reputation for hosting wild and extravagant events. Diddy, now 55, responded, "I remember somebody getting socked [in line at the bathroom]," though he appeared unaware that Kourtney had been the victim.
The clip has resurfaced in light of Diddy's ongoing legal troubles. The music mogul is currently facing serious federal charges, including sex trafficking by force, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was arrested in September 2024 and has remained in custody after multiple denied bail requests. He denies all allegations.
Recent testimonies from ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, her mother Regina Ventura, former assistant David James, and singer Dawn Richard have painted a disturbing picture. James testified he witnessed Diddy using drugs and said he was asked to supply baby oil, lubricant, and condoms for hotel encounters.
