James Cameron has officially joined Hollywood's most exclusive financial club. After four decades of record-breaking filmmaking and a third Avatar installment poised for another massive global run, the Oscar-winning director is now a billionaire, according to updated Forbes estimates.

The 71-year-old filmmaker's ascent has been driven almost entirely by box office performance rather than side ventures or corporate buyouts. Across his career, Cameron's films, including Titanic, Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water and the Terminator franchise, have generated nearly $9 billion worldwide. His personal earnings, fueled by back-end profit participation, licensing deals and ownership of key intellectual property, have pushed his net worth to an estimated $1.1 billion.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport and her husband Todd Bradley have separated after nine years of marriage, following a period marked by growing tension that was documented across seasons five and six of the show. The breakup was confirmed on December 12, with Bronwyn's representative stating that "after thoughtful consideration, Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley have separated," adding that it was "a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another" and that they "ask for privacy during this time."

Months before the split became public, Bronwyn had already acknowledged challenges within their relationship while discussing her experience filming RHOSLC. Reflecting on a vulnerable moment during a trip to Puerto Vallarta, she recalled, "I really felt like I was connecting with the women... when I was talking to them about issues that Todd and I have had in the past." Opening up on camera was difficult for her, noting, "Me sharing something is not natural for me. I have to really trust somebody... and I wish that had gone differently."

Bronwyn shared that Todd had mixed feelings about her being on the show, admitting that he "would prefer she didn't film" even though "Todd is so incredibly proud of me." She added that he appreciated that she used her platform to highlight "organizations and causes that I care about." However, the process was not easy for him: "It's so hard for Todd to watch me argue with the women and let it go."

As season six approached, Bronwyn noted that Todd intentionally reduced his on-camera involvement, opting to stay out of group scenes and interactions with the other cast members and their partners. His intention was to avoid becoming part of the ongoing discussions among the women. However, despite stepping back, Bronwyn admitted that conversations about him still continued — only now they took place when he wasn't present.

Their marriage had long included complications, including allegations explored on the show. Bronwyn reiterated that "there's no way Todd cheated with one of Lisa's friends," though she separately addressed an incident in which he was accused of "getting caught on a plane cheating," prompting a fight that ended with him staying at a hotel. She also revisited an earlier emotional affair, saying Todd admitted "it's a fatal flaw of his" tied to a mindset where "he's never satisfied."

Fans of the Fast and Furious franchise may soon see a globally recognized sports figure join the action. Vin Diesel has hinted that soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo could appear in Fast X Part 2, the upcoming and expected final installment of the long running film series.

Diesel, who has portrayed Dominic Dom Toretto since the franchise began, sparked speculation after sharing a photo of himself with Ronaldo on his Instagram account. In the caption, Diesel addressed ongoing fan curiosity about whether Ronaldo would be part of the Fast mythology. He wrote that a role had been written for the athlete and described him as a real one. While the post strongly suggests plans for Ronaldo to appear, it stops short of a formal confirmation.

As of now, Ronaldo himself has not publicly confirmed any involvement in the film. Universal Pictures has also not issued an official statement regarding his casting. As a result, any appearance remains speculative, though Diesel’s comments indicate that discussions or creative plans are at least underway.

Details about the potential role are being kept private. It is unclear whether Ronaldo would appear briefly or take on a more noticeable part in the story. The Fast and Furious franchise has a history of featuring high profile cameos, particularly in its later installments, which has fueled further fan interest following Diesel’s remarks.

Fast X Part 2 is scheduled for release in theaters in April 2027. The film is set to be the eleventh entry in the franchise and is widely expected to serve as its conclusion. Several major cast members are set to return, including Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Jason Momoa as Dante Reyes, Jordana Brewster as Mia Torretto and Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz. The ensemble nature of the series has been central to its success, and the final chapter is expected to reunite many familiar characters.

Earlier this year, Diesel also confirmed that the character Brian O’Connor will return in the film. Brian was originally portrayed by Paul Walker, who died in 2013. The franchise has previously used digital techniques and careful storytelling to honor Walker’s legacy, and his inclusion in the final film has drawn significant attention from longtime fans.

Fast X Part 2 will be directed by Louis Leterrier, who also directed Fast X. The script is being written by Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel. Both writers have experience handling large scale action films, and they are tasked with bringing the expansive saga to a close.

The news surrounding a possible Ronaldo cameo comes amid reports that Universal Pictures imposed tighter budget controls on the sequel. Fast X reportedly cost around 340 million dollars to produce. Although it grossed more than 700 million dollars worldwide, the film was considered one of the franchise’s least profitable entries. By comparison, F9 earned over 725 million dollars globally on a significantly smaller budget.

With its planned final release, returning characters and the possibility of a Cristiano Ronaldo appearance, Fast X Part 2 continues to generate strong interest as anticipation builds.
