Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest on Dec. 21, stepping onstage hand in hand with Erika Kirk for a closing conversation at the conservative group's annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

The rapper, 43, joined Kirk, who recently became CEO of Turning Point USA following the death of her husband and the organization's founder, Charlie Kirk. It marked Erika's first major appearance at the event since his killing earlier this year.

During the onstage discussion, Minaj spoke candidly about her evolving political views and explained why she has grown more vocal in her support for former President Donald Trump. "I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president," she said, adding that she believes Trump has "given so many people hope."
