Justin Baldoni and his wife Emily Baldoni appeared relaxed and cheerful during a casual outing in Nashville just days after the legal dispute involving Blake Lively and the film It Ends with Us officially came to an end.

The couple was seen holding hands outside a café on May 6, presenting a calm and upbeat appearance shortly after attorneys confirmed that the lawsuit tied to the 2024 film had been settled. The case had been expected to head to trial in New York within weeks before both sides reached an agreement.

Justin and Emily, who married in 2013, share two children together, daughter Maiya Grace and son Maxwell Roland-Samuel. The pair appeared comfortable and affectionate during the Nashville outing, which came amid widespread media attention surrounding the settlement.

Speaking publicly after the resolution, attorney Bryan Freedman, who represents Baldoni's production company Wayfarer, said his client was extremely pleased with the outcome. While he declined to discuss specific terms of the agreement, Freedman described both Baldoni and producer Jamie Heath as "ecstatic" about where the matter ultimately landed.

Freedman also clarified that Baldoni himself was no longer directly involved in the litigation when settlement discussions began. According to the attorney, Baldoni had already stepped away from the case by that stage, something he believes has often been overlooked in public conversations surrounding the dispute.

He characterized the resolution as a practical conclusion to a case that had already narrowed significantly before negotiations intensified. Freedman suggested Baldoni viewed the settlement less as a victory or defeat and more as a sensible ending to a legal situation from which he had already largely exited.

Meanwhile, attorneys representing Lively described the settlement as a major win for their client after filing a formal Notice of Settlement in federal court in New York. Freedman, however, later referred to the outcome as a "total victory" for Wayfarer and Baldoni's side as well.

In a joint statement released by attorneys for both parties, those involved with It Ends with Us said the film remains a meaningful project for everyone who helped create it. The statement also acknowledged the challenges that arose during the legal process while reaffirming commitments to maintaining professional workplace standards.

The dispute originally began when Lively accused Baldoni, who directed and co-starred in the film, of misconduct during production. Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit, which was later dismissed before the eventual settlement brought the case to a close.
