A 55-year-old worker has died after a stray büllet ripped through the wall of a Sam’s Club in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S., while he was doing inventory.

The victim, identified as Paris Carlock of Murfreesboro, was reportedly counting products in the store’s chip aisle shortly after 4 a.m. when the büllet struck him in the head.

Sam’s Club employees rushed to help Carlock before he was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the shooting was connected to an argument that began inside Lavo Lounge on Antioch Pike, near the supermarket.

According to investigators, security personnel removed those involved from the lounge, but the dispute continued outside. Günsh0ts were later heard as several vehicles left the area.

One of the büllets reportedly pierced the exterior wall of the Sam’s Club and struck Carlock, who police described as an innocent victim.

H0m!cide detectives are investigating the incident, but no arrests have been announced.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the shooting or the vehicles seen leaving the area to come forward.
