Alix Earle has finally addressed the long-running speculation surrounding her relationship with Tom Brady, giving viewers a coy response about the retired NFL star on her new Netflix reality series, Earle Meets World.
The 25-year-old influencer discussed the romance rumors in the second episode of the show, which premiered Friday, Sept. 4. The conversation took place while Earle was rehearsing for a Dancing with the Stars tour with her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
Val's wife, professional dancer Jenna Johnson, walked into the studio and quickly asked Earle what was going on in her personal life.
"I don't know what's going on," Earle replied. "I'm having fun."
Johnson then asked whether the situation was officially confirmed. Earle responded with a shrug, repeating that she was simply having fun before acknowledging that "a lot has changed since last time."
Johnson appeared supportive before turning the conversation to Earle's recent breakup with NFL player Braxton Berrios.
"I'm good," Earle said when asked how she was doing after the split.
Johnson then jokingly pretended to call Brady, quipping, "Tom, come over, cutie."
The exchange marks Earle's first public comments about her rumored romance with Brady after months of speculation. The pair were first linked around New Year's Eve when they were spotted together at a party in St. Barts. Videos from the event showed them dancing, talking and appearing close.
They were later seen together again during Super Bowl weekend in February, where they reportedly spent time together at a private party. PEOPLE subsequently reported that the two were "hooking up," while other reports described their connection as a casual fling rather than a serious relationship.
Representatives for Earle and Brady have not publicly confirmed the nature of their relationship.
The speculation surrounding Brady came shortly after Earle's split from Berrios, whom she had dated for more than two years. Earle later discussed the breakup in emotional social media posts, saying she had struggled with being alone after spending much of her adult life in relationships.
