Tom Hanks has found himself at the center of controversy following his portrayal of a Trump supporter on the SNL 50th-anniversary special. The Oscar winner reprised his role as Doug, a MAGA-hat-wearing contestant on the parody game show Black Jeopardy, a character he first played in 2016. However, the skit did not sit well with conservative viewers, who accused SNL of perpetuating outdated stereotypes about Trump supporters.

South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron, known for her roles in various films and Netflix's "Bloodhounds," tragically passed away at the age of 24 in her home in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. Authorities have confirmed that she died by suicide, a heartbreaking revelation reported by multiple news agencies, including The New York Times and The Korea Times. The Korean National Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made their first joint red carpet appearance since their explosive legal battle with Justin Baldoni at NBC's Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special. The Hollywood power couple's attendance marked a rare public outing amid mounting tensions surrounding Lively's allegations against her "It Ends With Us" director and co-star.

With the exception of Bill Hader's eagerly anticipated comeback, this SNL 50 show has almost everything. Numerous members of the Saturday Night Live cast from all seasons, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Pete Davidson, returned to the Studio 8H stage on February 16th for the show's 50th anniversary special, reenacting some of their most famous roles. There were a few noteworthy omissions, though. One cherished cast member who was absent, in addition to original cast member Dan Aykroyd, was Bill, who appeared frequently on the sketch comedy program from 2005 to 2013.

Actress Aubrey Plaza made her first public appearance since the tragic loss of her husband Jeff Baena, joining the star-studded lineup at NBC's SNL50: The Anniversary Special on Sunday evening. The 40-year-old actress, known for her roles in "Parks and Recreation" and "The White Lotus," took to the stage to introduce a poignant musical performance by Miley Cyrus and Brittany Howard.
