Olivia Rodrigo has revealed that her upcoming album draws significant inspiration from the iconic series Sex and the City, particularly one of its most beloved relationships.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, April 30, the 23 year old pop star shared that her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, was influenced by more than just a single moment from the show. While host Jimmy Fallon mentioned hearing that one song had been inspired by the series, Rodrigo explained that the connection runs much deeper.

Kellie Pickler returned to American Idol on May 4 to perform a duet with Hannah Harper, who finished in the Top 5 this season. Together, the duo sang "A Broken Wing" by Martina McBride, paying homage to the year Kellie competed on the show to fit in with the “Class of 2006” theme of the night.

The cause of death for Nicholas Brendon has been disclosed nearly two months after news of his passing was first shared.

The actor, best known for his role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, died at 54 on March 20. Medical findings indicate he died from atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, with acute pneumonia and a prior heart attack listed as contributing conditions.
