Rena Sofer is bidding the West Coast farewell. After almost 35 years, the General Hospital actress, who plays band manager Lois Cerullo on the ABC soap opera, announced she is leaving Los Angeles.

A settlement has been reached between actress Gina Carano and Disney and Lucasfilm, resolving her lawsuit stemming from her 2021 firing from The Mandalorian. Carano was dropped from the cast following controversial comments comparing being a Republican in the US to the experiences of Jews during the Holocaust. The terms of the agreement, which comes after Carano received support and funding from Elon Musk, have not been disclosed.

Kelly Clarkson has announced a pause in her Las Vegas residency to care for her two children as her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, battles a serious illness. The singer shared the news via Instagram on August 6, saying, "I normally keep my personal life private, but this past year, my children's father has been ill, and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them." She apologized to fans and thanked them for their patience and support.
