Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, model and influencer Haley Kalil, alleging invasion of privacy after she made graphic remarks about his anatomy during a livestream that later went viral.

According to court documents reviewed by TMZ, the 36-year-old former Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings player claims comments Haley made in a November appearance on Marlon Garcia's "Mar-Athon" livestream caused him severe emotional distress and unwanted public scrutiny after he had intentionally stepped away from the spotlight following his NFL retirement.

During the broadcast, Haley described her former husband's manhood in explicit terms, suggesting its size played a significant role in the breakdown of their marriage, which ended in divorce in 2022. The remarks quickly spread across social media, drawing widespread attention and sparking online commentary.

In the lawsuit, Kalil argues that the statements revealed "highly intimate and private facts" that were never meant for public consumption. He claims the fallout subjected both him and his family to degrading attention, adding that the public circulation of the remarks has been persistent and harmful.

Kalil also alleges that his current wife, Keilani Asmus, has received a growing number of disturbing and alarming messages as a direct result of the viral discussion. The couple married in 2024 and share a one-year-old son.

The former Pro Bowl tackle is seeking damages exceeding $75,000 and has requested a jury trial. He further claims that Haley financially benefited from the controversy through increased viewership, engagement, and monetization across social media platforms following the livestream's surge in attention.

Haley, 33, later addressed the backlash, stating that she still cared deeply about Kalil's privacy and regretted how a small portion of the lengthy livestream overshadowed other parts of their conversation. She told Page Six in November that the discussion had also included positive reflections on their relationship and personal growth.

In a subsequent statement responding to the lawsuit, Haley said she was shocked and hurt by the legal action, describing the situation as emotionally draining for both families.

Kalil retired from professional football in 2019 after stints with the Vikings, Panthers, and Houston Texans. He now co-runs a tequila business with his brother, former NFL center Ryan Kalil.
