CBS has officially mapped out its spring television calendar, giving viewers a clear look at when their favorite shows will wrap up for the season. As March comes to a close, the network is shifting attention toward season finales, revealing a lineup that stretches from late April through the end of May. The schedule includes a mix of long running hits, newer entries, reality competitions, and a few series that are preparing to say goodbye for good.

The rollout begins on April 23 with the season two finale of Matlock, the reboot starring Kathy Bates. This marks the first of many finales that will air over the following weeks, setting the tone for a packed schedule. From there, CBS moves into early May with the series finale of Watson on May 3, closing out its run after two seasons.

Several major shows will follow in quick succession. On May 5, NCIS Origins wraps its second season, while May 11 brings a significant night for the network. Both The Neighborhood and DMV will air their series finales back to back, marking the end of

their respective runs. The Neighborhood concludes after an impressive eight seasons, making it one of the longer running comedies on the network in recent years.

The NCIS franchise continues to be a major part of CBS programming, and its finales are spread across the schedule. The flagship NCIS series will close out its twenty third season on May 12, followed the same night by NCIS Sydney, which ends its third season. This coordinated scheduling highlights the continued strength and importance of the franchise within the CBS lineup.

Mid May also features finales for news and reality programming. 48 Hours will end its thirty ninth season on May 16, while 60 Minutes wraps its fifty eighth season the following day. Survivor, one of CBS most enduring reality shows, reaches its milestone fiftieth season finale on May 20, signaling a major achievement for the competition series.

Scripted dramas and comedies take center stage in the final stretch. On May 18, FBI concludes its eighth season alongside CIA, which finishes its first. A few days later on May 21, a full night of finales includes Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, Ghosts, and Elsbeth. That same night also marks the end of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which is set to air its series finale after eight seasons.

The final wave arrives on May 22 and continues through May 27. Newer shows like Sheriff Country, Fire Country, Boston Blue, and Marshals all close out their seasons, while Tracker wraps its third season on May 24. The schedule concludes with Hollywood Squares on May 27, bringing the spring finale cycle to a close.

Overall, CBS has created a structured and steady rollout of finales that keeps viewers engaged across several weeks. By spacing out its biggest shows and pairing related series on the same nights, the network ensures consistent audience attention while giving each program its moment.
