The transition marks a major step for the long-gestating project, which has been in development since Mann published the novel adaptation in 2022.

J.K. Rowling is clarifying her current feelings toward the Harry Potter cast after openly criticizing Emma Watson's recent comments.

The author, 60, posted on X on Monday, September 29, responding to Watson's remarks on a podcast. Watson, 35, said that although they differ on transgender rights, she can still feel love and gratitude toward Rowling and acknowledge their shared history.
