Ariana Grande has opened up about how her Eternal Sunshine Tour has been different from her previous concert tours, describing the experience as a deeply meaningful and healing chapter in her life.

During an interview on Monday, Aug. 17, with Vosk in the City, the pop star reflected on how her current tour has allowed her to connect with fans in a way she was unable to do in the past.

Grande, 33, called the tour "such a beautiful corrective experience," explaining that she is in a different place in her life and feels more present during her performances. She also joked that she was not wearing contact lenses during her previous tour.

The singer said being able to clearly see her fans, connect with them and perform songs that have been part of their shared experience for more than a decade has made the tour particularly special.

Grande also reflected on the strong bond she has shared with her fans since the beginning of her career. She said she first experienced their overwhelming support when she was young, performing on television and uploading covers to YouTube.

According to Grande, that connection has remained consistent throughout the years and feels genuine and mutual. She emphasized how deeply she cares about her fans and described their relationship as personal and meaningful.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour is scheduled to conclude in London on Sept. 1, after Grande performs 10 shows at the O2 Arena.

Following the tour, Grande plans to take a break from public-facing work as scrutiny surrounding her health and appearance has intensified. Her representative previously confirmed that she would step back from visibility after completing the tour, describing the decision as one that had been planned for some time.

Grande also addressed the decision during her Aug. 3 concert in Chicago, telling fans that it was not an impulsive reaction to criticism. She said she had quietly planned the break long before announcing it.

The singer reassured fans that negativity would not change how she viewed their relationship, emphasizing that the love they share remained more important to her than outside commentary.

Grande has described the Eternal Sunshine Tour as one of the most healing and special experiences of her life.

She will also no longer appear in the upcoming West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park with George, which was expected to reunite her with her Wicked costar Jonathan Bailey. The production was scheduled to open in London next summer.
