The 2027 Tour de France will start in Edinburgh with the first three stages taking place in Scotland, England and Wales, the organisers ASO announced at a ceremony in the Scottish capital on Wednesday. The women's Tour de France will also start from Britain in 2027, from a location yet to be revealed.

Skiing champion Lindsey Vonn has announced her return to the World Cup circuit at St. Moritz, Switzerland next weekend.

In a video posted by her sponsor, Red Bull, on Friday, the 40-year-old Vonn said:

“So, I have some news. My body is finally put back together and I hear St Moritz is pretty nice this time of year.”
