For the first time in more than 50 years, NASA is preparing to send astronauts back to the Moon. Utah Valley University has announced plans to create a memorial in honor of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was tragically assassinated during a speaking event on campus earlier this month. As part of its ongoing commitment to wearable technology, Meta has unveiled a new range of smart glasses powered by its advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tech. At the company's annual "Meta Connect" developers conference, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the new line of devices, which were developed in collaboration with leading sunglasses brands Ray-Ban and Oakley. In addition to the glasses themselves, Meta also introduced a neural wristband that integrates with the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses to allow users to execute various functions, including sending messages, via intuitive hand gestures.

The Pentagon is facing mounting criticism from journalists and legal experts after unveiling new restrictions on media access to the Department of Defense. The policy, rolled out late last week, requires reporters to sign a pledge not to disclose information that has not been formally authorized for publication. Tommy Norman, a veteran officer with the North Little Rock Police Department and a well-known social media presence, was arrested over the weekend on a charge of third-degree domestic battery. The incident reportedly involved an argument with his wife, who alleged that Norman struck her. Norman’s version of events differs; he claims he was attempting to block a slap from her, and in doing so, caused the injury.
