Facing pressure on sales and profits due to US trade tariffs, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is set to cut up to 500 management jobs in the UK. The carmaker said it would launch a voluntary redundancy scheme, with the cuts affecting less than 1.5% of its British workforce. JLR described the workforce reduction as "normal business practice".

A UK court on Tuesday awarded Hewlett Packard £700 million ($946 million) in compensation in a fraud case linked to the late British tech tycoon Mike Lynch. The case stems from the sale of Lynch's company, Autonomy, and follows a 2022 court ruling in favor of the US technology giant, now known as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Lynch died last year when his superyacht sank off the coast of Sicily.

Iceland has recorded its 12th volcanic eruption in four years, as magma broke through the Sundhnukur crater at 3:56 a.m. local time on Wednesday. The Icelandic Meteorological Office confirmed the eruption followed over two hours of seismic tremors on the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwest of Reykjavik.

The long ordeal of the British F-35B fighter jet stranded at an Indian airport is set to end, with the aircraft scheduled to fly out on Tuesday after being grounded for over five weeks. According to an airport spokesman, the jet will be moved from the hangar today in preparation for its departure. The spokesman declined to give technical details.
