Fans of NCIS’ iconic duo, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, have made their voices heard—and their excitement is impossible to ignore. The teaser trailer for NCIS: Tony & Ziva, Paramount+’s latest spinoff, has officially broken franchise and platform records, amassing a staggering 93 million views across broadcast, digital, and social platforms within just seven days of its May 5 debut.

According to data from Nielsen, social media platforms, and internal CBS/Paramount+ reporting, the trailer collected 26.5 million views across YouTube and social channels including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X. An additional 13 million came from digital platforms, including Paramount+ itself. Together, these digital and social platforms generated 39.5 million views—making it the most-watched Season 1 teaser trailer for any Paramount+ series to date.

In a savvy move that honored the franchise’s network TV roots, CBS aired the trailer during the May 5 season finale of NCIS. That broadcast debut, along with various full and shortened versions running on the network throughout the week, drew another 53.5 million views. Combined, the 93 million total makes the Tony & Ziva teaser the most-watched trailer in the entire 22-year history of the NCIS franchise.

The series marks the seventh installment in the NCIS universe and picks up after years of emotional fallout. After Ziva was presumed dead, Tony left the NCIS team to raise their daughter, Tali. But Ziva was later revealed to be alive, and the family reunited in Paris following one final mission.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva finds the three living together in Europe—until Tony’s security company is attacked, forcing the family into hiding. As they race across Europe to uncover the threat, Tony and Ziva must navigate old wounds, restore trust, and fight to secure the future they’ve long deserved.

The series stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, reprising their beloved roles, alongside Isla Gie as Tali. The cast also includes Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Julian Ovenden, Nassima Benchicou, Lara Rossi, Terence Maynard, and James D’Arcy.

Produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution, the series is helmed by showrunner John McNamara, who also executive produces alongside de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals, and Mairzee Almas.
