Drake has shared deeply personal news about his father Dennis Graham's health through his latest album Iceman, released on May 15 alongside two surprise projects, Habibti and Maid Of Honour.

The revelation comes in the opening track "Make Them Cry," where the rapper discloses that his 71‑year‑old father is battling cancer.

"My dad got cancer right now, we battlin' stages," he raps, adding that he would rather face other challenges but is prepared to confront this one. The song also touches on his own struggles with aging, career pressures, and criticism from fans and the industry.

Dennis Graham marked the album's release with a heartfelt Instagram post showing him embracing his son, captioned: "The Ice Man and The Nice Man just doing what we do, don't get it twisted." Fans quickly responded with messages of support, offering prayers and encouragement for his recovery.

Graham's musical background runs deep. He was once a drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis and led his own group, Dennis Graham and the North Memphis Band. In recent years, he returned to recording, releasing "Father and Son" in 2021, a song celebrating his bond with Drake.

Family themes are woven throughout "Make Them Cry." Drake reflects on how his parents view him as someone who has overcome challenges, while he now sees them as an older couple navigating life together. He also describes the shifting roles within his family, saying he feels responsible for supporting both his mother and his father.

The track also captures his frustration with "fake fans" and the pressures of the music business. He raps about battling labels, radio stations, and the constant scrutiny that comes with his career. Despite the heavy subject matter, the song resonated strongly with listeners, sparking widespread reactions online.
