Country music star Bailey Zimmerman has canceled his scheduled performances across the United Kingdom and Europe, citing personal family matters as the reason behind the decision.
The 26-year-old announced the news in a statement shared on Instagram on Thursday, telling fans that the decision was difficult but necessary. Zimmerman said he understood how much fans had been looking forward to the shows and expressed regret over having to cancel them.
He explained that he needed to dedicate his time and attention to his family, while assuring supporters that there was no serious emergency. According to the singer, everything is okay, but his family needs him at this time, making it his priority to step away from touring.
Zimmerman also confirmed that his scheduled North American concerts in August will still go ahead as planned. However, once those performances conclude, he intends to take a break from touring to focus on his family, his personal well-being, and creating new music.
He thanked fans for their continued understanding and support, acknowledging that many had waited a long time for the European shows. Ending his message on a heartfelt note, Zimmerman told fans he appreciated them for standing by him throughout his career and expressed his love for everyone who has supported his journey.
His longtime touring companion and opening act, Chandler Walters, also addressed the cancellations on social media. Walters, who has toured with Zimmerman for several years, said constant travel and time away from home can place significant strain on both family relationships and mental health.
He also reassured fans that there was no major crisis behind the decision, adding that nothing bad had happened and encouraging supporters to respect Zimmerman's need to spend time with his loved ones.
Zimmerman is next scheduled to perform in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on August 6 before making additional stops in Wisconsin, Missouri, and Illinois. His North American tour is expected to conclude on August 14. He had originally planned to continue with performances in Glasgow, Lutterworth, and Dublin later in the month.
The announcement comes just months after Zimmerman resolved a legal matter stemming from an incident at a hotel in New Mexico. He had faced a fourth-degree felony charge after damaging a hotel room ahead of a scheduled performance in Albuquerque, which was later canceled because of illness. Zimmerman accepted responsibility for his actions, apologized publicly, and made full restitution. The charges were subsequently dismissed.
Zimmerman released his debut album, Religiously. The Album, in 2023 before following it with Different Night Same Rodeo in 2025. Earlier this year, he also earned two American Music Award nominations for his collaboration with BigXthaPlug on the hit song "All the Way."
