Coachella has unveiled its 2026 lineup, and for the first time, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G will take the coveted headline slots. The announcement confirms the three pop heavyweights as the stars of next year’s edition, set to draw more than 250,000 fans to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
For Carpenter, it marks a triumphant return to the desert. She first made waves at Coachella 2024, debuting her global hit Espresso during an eye-catching set that cemented her place as one of pop’s breakout forces. This time, she steps up as a headliner, kicking off the weekend with a Friday night performance that promises to showcase her bold stage presence. Known for her sparkling microphone, playful costumes, and energetic choreography, Carpenter has developed a reputation for turning festivals into full-blown spectacles.
Joining her at the top of the bill are two global stars making their headlining debuts. Bieber, one of the most recognizable names in pop, will command the stage on Saturday night. On Sunday, Colombian superstar Karol G—who has been leading the charge for Latin music on the global stage—will close out the festival.
Beyond the big three, Coachella’s 2026 roster brings together a wide mix of international and homegrown talent. Acts like Teddy Swims, Katseye, Central Cee, and CMAT are among the confirmed performers. UK representation is especially strong, with Disclosure, Wet Leg, Lambrini Girls, Little Simz, and FKA Twigs all on the lineup.
The festival will once again stretch across two weekends, running April 10–12 and April 17–19. Tickets are not yet on sale, though fans can already register for passes, and demand is expected to be high.
As always, Coachella is as much about the spectacle as the music. The 2025 edition drew global attention with headliners including Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Travis Scott, Post Malone, and Green Day. A-list celebrities such as Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were spotted in the crowd, alongside Justin and Hailey Bieber, reinforcing the festival’s reputation as a magnet for Hollywood and music industry elites.
Still, Coachella is no stranger to controversy. Last year’s event faced backlash over a new camping reservation system that triggered traffic chaos, with 12-hour tailbacks reported outside the grounds. This year’s announcement has already sparked debate, with fans on social media divided.
“I don’t think there has ever been a worse Coachella lineup in the history of the festival,” one critic wrote on X. Others were far more enthusiastic, with one fan declaring, “I will literally do anything for someone to sponsor my Coachella trip. This line-up is so insane to me.”
Whatever the reactions, Coachella 2026 is shaping up to be one of the year’s most talked-about music events. With Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G leading the charge, anticipation is already running high.
