Despite the pain, Thomas Rhett knows how to keep a smile on his face. The country music artist fell and ended up leaving the venue in a wheelchair prior to his unexpected appearance during Forrest Frank's performance at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on April 13.

Thomas joked on Instagram on April 15 that "sometimes you just have to sing at a Forrest Frank concert and break your ankle in the process." "I gave my all for Tennessee tonight."

Forrest surprised fans in the video by introducing his "Nothing Else" collaborator in the middle of his performance and stating, "I can't sing Thomas Rhett's verse, right?"

Then the camera panned to Thomas sitting casually to the side of the stage in an empty section of the arena. However, as he made his way down the steps, he could be seen tripping and twisting his ankle before making a quick recovery.

Despite the pain, he hobbled onto the stage and performed with enthusiasm, jumping up and down. However, his wife, Lauren Akins, who has daughters with the singer, Willa Gray, 9, Ada James, 7, Lennon Love, 5, and Lillie Carolina, 3, ended up pushing him around the arena in a wheelchair shortly after he gave it his all on stage.

"@hiforrest told me to pull up,” Thomas captioned the video, “and I left in a wheelchair."

Ultimately, it appears that Thomas was not the only performer to succumb to the perils of live performances. In fact, during a performance of Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" at the final stop of her North American tour in Toronto, Kelsea Ballerini recently fell off a moving platform.

However, the 31-year-old didn't miss a beat, just like Thomas. The "Cowboys Cry Too" singer instantly sat up and continued to sing while laughing after she fell off the platform as it rose off the ground, transforming the fall into a stunning pose. She continued to put on a fantastic show in her matching turquoise boots and bodysuit, even though the audience gasped aloud as she sang the lyrics, "I'll be okay."

When it comes to concert mishaps, the "Dibs" singer, who has been dating Outer Banks star Chase Stokes since 2023, might be a little unlucky. Because in June 2023, she was hit in the face by an unidentified object that was thrown at her, forcing her to temporarily halt her performance.

During the Idaho performance, she asked the audience, "Can we just talk about what happened?" "Keeping everyone safe is all that matters to me. Please let someone nearby know if you ever feel unsafe.
