Kris Jenner is sharing more details about the hysterectomy she underwent after doctors found a non-cancerous tumor on one of her ovaries, saying the decision ultimately gave her peace of mind.

Speaking on the SHE MD podcast with Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney, the 70-year-old said she chose to have the procedure done because she did not want to risk any health issues worsening in the future.

"I would rather be clear of any medical complication or anything having a chance to attach itself and grow back," Jenner said. "So I just said, 'Let's go in and take care of it.'"

During the discussion, Dr. Aliabadi brought up another detail Jenner had not forgotten, the surgery was recorded. "I videotaped your surgery for you," the doctor said with a laugh. "It's 22 minutes skin-to-skin."

Jenner laughed about the moment and jokingly praised the uterus that gave her six children. "That was a good uterus," she said.

Although she tried to keep things light-hearted, Jenner admitted the procedure was deeply emotional. In a past episode of The Kardashians, she spoke about how deeply motherhood has shaped her life over time.

"I'm very emotional about it, because when you're young, you start talking about wanting a family," she said. "It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years."

Jenner said doctors initially planned to take out only her ovaries, but further tests revealed a separate concern that also required treatment. She added that after the procedure, her recovery went well and she felt significantly better.

She also spoke about the importance of family in her life, calling her children her "biggest joy" as well as her "biggest responsibility."

"This is my life's work," Jenner said. "It's my destiny. It's my legacy. It's my everything. It's my heart."
