Twitch has officially banned the musician and content creator known as D4vd from its platform following his arrest and arraignment on charges of first-degree murder, continuous sexual abuse of a minor, and mutilation of human remains. The 21-year-old artist, legally named David Burke, was a frequent presence on the streaming service, often engaging with fans through gaming sessions and music production livestreams.
The ban, which took effect shortly after Burke’s April 16, 2026, arrest, marks a definitive end to his digital footprint on the platform. A spokesperson for Twitch confirmed that the account was suspended for violations of the site’s “Community Guidelines and Terms of Service,” which prohibit users from using the service to promote or engage in illegal activity. The ban coincides with the public unsealing of evidence that links Burke’s digital life to the crimes.
