Haylie Duff and Matt Rosenberg have quietly ended their relationship, bringing a close to a partnership that spanned more than a decade and included a lengthy engagement.
A representative for Duff confirmed the couple went their separate ways earlier this year, noting the split happened around the beginning of 2026. The statement also
emphasized Duff's request for privacy as she focuses on raising the pair's two young daughters.
The former couple share Ryan Ava Erhard, 10, and Lulu Gray, 7, who have remained central to their lives throughout their relationship. Duff and Rosenberg got engaged in April 2014 after dating for roughly a year and a half, but never formally tied the knot.
Over the years, Duff openly acknowledged that marriage was not always a pressing priority. In past interviews, she explained that their dynamic already felt like a committed union, especially as they built a family together. Wedding plans were repeatedly delayed, initially due to her first pregnancy and later as parenting realities took precedence.
She previously described their relationship as balanced despite differences, saying Rosenberg complemented her in ways that made their bond work. At the time, she suggested that if they ever did marry, the celebration would likely be more relaxed and reflective of their stage in life rather than a traditional ceremony.
The breakup also comes amid renewed attention on Duff's relationship with her younger sister, Hilary Duff. Earlier this year, Hilary alluded to a strained dynamic between the two in her music, describing feelings of distance and unresolved tension.
While neither sister has publicly detailed the situation in full, Hilary has spoken candidly about the emotional weight of the estrangement, calling it one of the loneliest periods of her life.
