The drama star recently revealed that she started her mother Claire Stoermer's tattoo journey 12 years ago by making a design for her—but she had no idea that one drawing would be so important.
"I convinced her to get her first tattoo at 50 years old," Zendaya said on the April 3 broadcast of The Jennifer Hudson Show. "I drew it for her, and since then, she calls me randomly, and she'll be getting a new tattoo."
"She is now fully covered. ""She's basically sleeved up," the 29-year-old said. "She's like a walking piece of art."
However, Zendaya does not find body inking uncomfortable. In fact, she told Jennifer Hudson, "I like tattoos."
This is not surprising given that the Euphoria actress previously showed off the little "t" tattoo on her ribcage—which many believe is dedicated to Tom Holland—at the 2025 Golden Globes. That following night, Zendaya and Tom's engagement was revealed when she appeared on the red carpet wearing a diamond ring.
However, the couple never confirmed the news—and has been even more secretive this year after Zendaya's stylist Law Roach said the Spider-Man co-stars quietly married.
Zendaya, who walked out two days before Law's March 1 admission with a gold band on her left ring finger, fuelled more conjecture when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel. Left on March 16 and playfully reacted to the rumors, saying, "I haven't seen any of that."
Another person who hasn't been hesitant to speak out on the marriage rumors? None other than Zendaya's mother.
Just one day after Law's Actor Awards interview, Claire posted a video of his assertion on her Instagram Story, accompanied by a laughing emoji. The 62-year-old mocked Law's reaction in the video, writing, "The laugh…."
Regardless of when they officially married, it's understandable that Zendaya and Tom would want to keep the celebration quiet. After all, the couple has made clear that privacy is a significant value in their relationship.
"Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and want to keep as sacred as possible," Tom, 29, told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2023. "We don't think that we owe it to anyone; it's our thing."
