Jelly Roll revealed he was hospitalized earlier this year after flipping his ATV and breaking his collarbone in a frightening crash just days before the 2026 Grammy Awards.

The 41-year-old singer, born Jason Bradley DeFord, kept the injury under wraps for weeks before finally opening up to fans in an Instagram video shared over the weekend.

"I've been keeping a secret from y'all," the "I Am Not Okay" hitmaker said while standing beside his repaired four-wheeler. "Y'all just took this thing out for the first time since I flipped it. I broke my collarbone."

The accident occurred in January, and the impact left the country star shaken. He admitted he was nervous to climb back onto the ATV after the wreck.

"I was so scared to get back on this thing," he confessed. "I just knew if I didn't get back on it sooner than later, I was just going to be more and more afraid of it."

Although he initially believed the vehicle was totaled, one of his brothers restored it to like-new condition. The "Son of a Sinner" crooner also shared an X-ray image of his fractured clavicle, along with photos of the damaged ATV and moments from Grammy weekend.

Despite the painful setback, he still attended the 2026 Grammy Awards, even walking the red carpet with his wife, Bunnie Xo.

Behind the scenes, however, every embrace came at a cost.

"Every time I hugged somebody that week, I wanted to scream," he admitted. "Every time somebody squeezed me, I thought I was gonna cry."

Bunnie Xo later posted her own clip showing her husband in a hospital bed wearing a neck brace. "Worst phone call to ever get," she wrote, reassuring fans that he has since healed completely.

The three-time Grammy winner ultimately turned the ordeal into a lesson. "Sometimes the machine can do more than the user thinks it can," he said. "Moral of the story, get back on that pony."
