A newly filed lawsuit has introduced a startling claim involving Riley Keough and John Travolta's family, alleging that the actress is the biological mother of Travolta's youngest son, Ben. The allegation appears in court documents connected to an ongoing legal dispute involving two former business associates of Priscilla Presley.
According to the filing, the claim was relayed secondhand by Brigitte Kruse, one of Presley's former business partners, who says she was told the story by Michael Lockwood, the former husband of Lisa Marie Presley. The lawsuit does not name Keough or Travolta as defendants, but includes the allegation as background information tied to broader claims of mediation and negotiation within the Presley family.
The complaint alleges that around 2010, John Travolta and his late wife, Kelly Preston, sought an egg donor in order to conceive their son. It claims that Riley Keough, then in her early twenties, agreed to provide eggs so that Preston could carry the pregnancy to term. Ben Travolta was born later that year.
The filing further claims that Keough was compensated for the alleged donation with a payment ranging from $10,000 to $20,000, along with a luxury vehicle. No medical records or direct documentation supporting the claim are included in the lawsuit, and the allegations are presented as statements attributed to Lockwood rather than firsthand accounts.
Attorneys representing Kruse and her co-plaintiff say the amended complaint is intended to "correct the record" and provide context for their role in attempting to stabilize family matters following Lisa Marie Presley's death in 2023. They maintain that the filing reflects information shared with them during efforts to resolve internal disputes.
Legal representatives for Priscilla Presley have strongly rejected the allegations, calling them inflammatory and irrelevant to the underlying contract dispute at the center of the case. Presley's attorney described the claims as an attempt to apply pressure through sensational assertions unrelated to the legal issues being litigated.
Representatives for Riley Keough, John Travolta, and Michael Lockwood have not publicly responded to the claims. None of the individuals accused of involvement are currently parties to the lawsuit.
Travolta and Preston shared three children during their marriage. Preston died in 2020 following a private battle with cancer, and Travolta has continued to keep his family life largely out of the public spotlight since her passing.
As the lawsuit proceeds, the court has not made any findings regarding the credibility or accuracy of the allegations.
