Millie Bobby Brown's health has taken an unexpected turn.
Following a fall that left her arm in a sling, the Stranger Things star was forced to appear virtually on Good Morning America on December 15. Though costar Noah Schnapp was "so sad" that she couldn't make it to the studio for their joint interview, Millie assured him that she would be fine.
"I'm really sorry I couldn't be there with you guys," Millie said in a pre-recorded video, quickly panning to her sling-clad arm. "I took a fall."
Despite her injuries, the 21-year-old Enola Holmes actress maintained a sense of humor about the ordeal.
"So, I wanted to still participate in any way I could because you know me, Noah," she said with humor. "I have to make it about me."
Millie, who announced in August that she and husband Jake Bongiovi had adopted a baby girl, then asked her "best friend" Noah a question during an interview.
"What is your favorite family tradition to do during the holidays, slash favorite memory?" she asked him before concluding the video. "Alright, I love you. Good morning. Bye!"
Before responding that his family plays charades during the holidays, Noah, also 21, expressed how much he misses Millie, saying, "Ah Mill, I wish she was here."
Millie and Noah are clearly close. In fact, the Damsel star recently revealed that the two had elevated their friendship to family status. While discussing how her Stranger Things co-stars—including Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, and
Gaten Matarazzo—have been assisting her with her mothering duties, she also revealed that Noah is her daughter's godfather.
“Sadie is very maternal,” Millie told Entertainment Tonight at the show’s season 5 premiere Nov. 6. “But, you know, Noah’s her godfather. So, I trust all of them to be honest. They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves when their baby voice comes out when they’re around her.”
