Andy Dick is dismissing the idea of going to rehab following an apparent overdose that left him slumped over on a staircase in Hollywood earlier this week. The 59-year-old comedian invited a TMZ reporter into his Los Angeles home, where he made it clear he has no plans to pursue treatment. When asked directly, he replied, "F–k no," later repeating, "No, I'm not going to be in rehab."

During the strange interview, Dick insisted he was fine and questioned whether anyone truly needs professional support. "Do I need help? Do we all need help? Do you need help?" he asked, deflecting concerns about his condition. He also joked about calling Dr. Drew while emphasizing he felt "100 percent fine," eventually changing it to "110 percent fine."

Dick's two friends sat beside him as he spoke, noting that they have taken him to rehab multiple times before and hoped he would reconsider. They also said they have been filming a documentary about him for six years. One friend shared that actor Edward Furlong reached out to check on Dick, telling him he loved him and urging him to stop using drugs. Another reminded Dick that many people care about him and want him to stay safe.

Dick described the incident that led to the overdose, saying he had stepped away from his friends and sat with a man he met on the sidewalk. The man produced crack cocaine, and Dick said, "I might need a little bit of that," later adding, "I don't mind doing a little crack every now and then."

On Tuesday, he was found unresponsive before bystanders administered Narcan, a treatment used to counter opioid overdoses. Witnesses said he briefly turned blue and required multiple doses before waking up. Authorities confirmed they responded to an overdose call but said the individual was taken home by a friend rather than transported to a hospital.

Dick's struggles with addiction have been well documented, alongside various legal issues spanning years. Despite his history and the most recent scare, he maintains that he is not seeking rehab, even as those around him continue urging him to get help.
