Tony Germano, a longtime Brazilian actor and voice artist known for his work across Netflix, Nickelodeon and Disney productions, has died at 55 after a fatal fall at his home in São Paulo. His representative confirmed that Germano "suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries." The statement added, "We kindly ask for respect and understanding during this painful time for his family, friends, and colleagues. Tony leaves behind a legacy of dedication, generosity and immense talent ... His absence will be deeply felt."

Local outlets reported that Germano had recently moved back into his parents' former home and was checking renovation work on the roof when he lost his balance. He had spent the night before with his sister and appeared excited about "starting a new chapter of his life." Germano lived alone and had no children.

With a career spanning three decades, Germano worked widely as both an actor and voice performer. He lent his voice to Portuguese-language versions of Nickelodeon's Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Netflix's Go, Dog, Go!, and Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast. His voice credits also included Elena of Avalor, The Muppets, and Sheriff Callie's Wild West. On stage, he had roles in major productions such as The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Jekyll & Hyde, and Fiddler on the Roof. Onscreen, he appeared in films including An Unforgettable Year: Autumn, Phantom Summer, Necropolis Symphony, and the 2025 release Labyrinth of Lost Boys, where he played Doctor Lauro.

Tributes from peers highlighted Germano's reputation for kindness, professionalism, and talent. Actor Miguel Falabella remembered him as "an untouchable professional," "dear friend" and "gifted actor," noting that "I have had the privilege of working alongside him in a few productions." Director Matheus Marchetti, who worked with Germano on Labyrinth of Lost Boys, wrote that their creative partnership "seemed like it was going to last forever," describing him as "a father figure" on set and "someone any of us could count on." He added, "I am so lucky to have found a soul as generous, as talented, and as endearing as Tony Germano. It's a gift from the rarest of all."
