Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman were reportedly inside Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's New York City penthouse during a 2023 confrontation in which Reynolds accused Justin Baldoni of "fat-shaming" his wife, according to newly unsealed court documents tied to Lively and Baldoni's ongoing legal battle.

The documents, cited in timelines circulated by Wayfarer Studios co-founder Jamey Heath's team, outline an April 25, 2023 meeting in which Baldoni visited the couple's apartment. Once there, Reynolds allegedly "unloaded" on the actor-director, telling him it was unacceptable to question a woman's weight. The filing says Lively and Reynolds accused Baldoni of "fat-shaming," prompting him to apologize and wipe away tears.

Swift, 35, and Jackman, 57, were described as present during the encounter. Representatives for both did not respond to requests for comment.

The confrontation is among several incidents referenced in the broader dispute between Lively and Baldoni, whose collaboration on It Ends With Us devolved into litigation. Lively, now 38, sued Baldoni in December 2024 alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, and misconduct during production, claims Baldoni denies. Their trial is scheduled for March 2026.

Baldoni previously filed a $400 million countersuit, since dismissed, arguing he had been misrepresented. In that filing, he said he contacted Lively's trainer strictly to prepare for a lift scene due to chronic back issues, and not to criticize her appearance. He further alleged that Lively weaponized her high-profile friendships—claiming messages described Swift and Reynolds as her "dragons," meant to signal influence and support.

TMZ earlier reported that Swift arrived at the penthouse at a time Lively suggested, allegedly unaware Baldoni was present. Sources close to the singer said Swift believed she had inadvertently been placed in the middle of the dispute, and that she limited her interaction with Baldoni to brief pleasantries about the film.

People close to the situation told outlets this year that Swift and Lively, once publicly close, have not spoken since tensions around the lawsuit escalated. One insider said Swift felt "used," adding that the singer had no creative involvement with the film beyond licensing a single song.

Neither side's claims have been independently verified, and much of the controversy remains subject to the upcoming 2026 trial.
