Kim Kardashian has revealed that she did not pass the California bar exam but remains determined to achieve her long-term dream of becoming a lawyer. The 45-year-old SKIMS founder shared the news in a candid post on her Instagram Stories on November 8, saying, "Well... I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV."

Kardashian added, "Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination." She continued, "Failing short isn't failure — it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let's go!"

The two-day California bar exam, taken on July 29 and 30, is known for its difficulty, consisting of multiple essays, a performance test, and 200 multiple-choice questions. It has an average pass rate of 63.6 percent. Kardashian completed the test nearly six months after graduating from her six-year Law Office Study Program in May — an alternative legal training route offered in California.

In a celebratory Instagram post following her graduation, she reflected, "Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. It wasn't easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up. Each course brought moments of doubt, tears, and triumph... This experience has shaped me profoundly."

At her graduation ceremony, attorney Jessica Jackson commended Kim's unwavering commitment, highlighting the long hours she devoted to her legal studies while simultaneously managing her family, businesses, and public life. Jackson noted that Kim's six-year journey through the rigorous program demonstrated remarkable perseverance and discipline.

Kardashian previously passed the "baby bar" exam in 2021 after four attempts and later passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) earlier this year. Despite setbacks, she remains committed to her legal ambitions.

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she hinted at her future plans, saying, "Maybe in 10 years, I think I'll give up being Kim K. and be a trial lawyer. That's what I really want."
