Eminem's daughter, Alaina Scott, is speaking out against body shaming after receiving negative comments about her appearance following her pregnancy announcement.

The 32-year-old shared several Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Oct. 21, responding to an online post that featured a photo of her leaving the gym. The photo, originally reshared by another account, included a caption referencing her "pregnancy news." Alaina said she was shocked to find that most of the comments focused on her body size.

"A random photo of me was taken in this outfit while leaving somewhere and posted online," she wrote over the picture of herself wearing red leopard-print leggings and a gray T-shirt. "Normally, I don't care about negative comments. However, the caption read since posting about her 'pregnancy news,' yet the comments talk about my body size."

In a follow-up post, Alaina addressed the assumptions made about her. "I was just leaving a workout class, so maybe don't assume things," she said. "I am pregnant and literally growing a child. They're going to hate to see me at nine months."

She went on to reflect on the impossible standards women face, noting that they are often criticized whether they lose weight, gain weight, or make personal choices about their bodies. "Damned if we do, damned if we don't," she wrote. "You're beautiful no matter what your size is. You are not defined by your weight. You're allowed to gain weight while pregnant, and you don't have to bounce back on any timeline."

Alaina added that people should be free to make decisions about their appearance without shame. "If you want the surgery, the shot, whatever to improve your appearance, then go off sis, I'm not here to shame you," she said. "This is your PSA to stop commenting on women's bodies—or any body, for that matter."

In another post, she shared that this being her first pregnancy, the changes to her body have been an adjustment. "I actually feel good with my body right now," she said. "I'm grateful to move my body, eat when I'm hungry, and rest when I need to. If you're pregnant and not working out, that's okay too. Give yourself grace. We're all just doing the best we can."
