As the investigation into Celeste Rivas Hernandez's death progresses, new information has come to light.

Before the car was towed to a Hollywood impound lot, detectives served a search warrant for the Hollywood Hills property where the 15-year-old's body was found in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to singer D4vd on September 8, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Investigators retrieved a variety of items from the Sunset Blvd. residence, including computers and electronics, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the case who were not permitted to speak to the media. Although D4vd (real name David Anthony Burke) does not own the property, it is said that he stayed there prior to starting his Withered World Tour at the beginning of the summer, law enforcement sources had previously told ABC News.

According to the Times, robbery-homicide detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department are looking into the case as authorities continue to piece together the connection between Rivas Hernandez and D4vd.

The LAPD has not yet identified a suspect or person of interest in the case. On September 17, NBC News was informed by a D4vd representative that the 20-year-old is "fully cooperating with the authorities." Additionally, the singer of "Romantic Homicide" canceled the remaining dates of his tour; as of right now, his website does not list any concerts.

First found at the Hollywood impound lot, Rivas Hernandez's body was reported to the police because of "a foul odor coming from a vehicle." The teen, whose body was identified, was reported missing from Lake Elsinore, California, a city about 70 miles from Los Angeles, on April 5, 2024. When she vanished, she was thirteen years old.

According to Medical Examiner's Office records seen by E! News on September 17, her cause of death was postponed, and her death date was listed as September 8—the day her body was found. But authorities pointed out that her body was "severely decomposed" and seemed to have been in the car for a long time before being discovered.

According to the LA Times, Rivas Hernandez was reported missing at least three times in 2024, according to information provided by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.

The Los Angeles County Coroner told TMZ that her body was given to her family on September 23.
