Sean "Diddy" Combs' children, mother, and former partners have written emotional letters urging leniency ahead of the music mogul's upcoming sentencing.

Diddy, 55, will be sentenced on October 3 after being convicted in July on two counts of interstate transportation for prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Each count carries up to 10 years, but his attorneys are requesting a 14-month sentence, which would allow for his release this year given his year-long incarceration at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.

Diddy's six eldest children, including Justin, Christian "King," Quincy, Chance, D'Lila, and Jessie, submitted letters describing their pain during his absence. His youngest child, Love, is 2 years old.

Quincy, 34, recalled Diddy stepping in as a father figure after his mother, Kim Porter, passed away in 2018, writing, "He became our rock. Beyond his love for us, he's empowered us to become who we want to be."

Justin, 31, begged Judge Arun Subramanian to see Diddy "not through headlines but through the eyes of a son," while Christian, 27, called him "the best father in the world" and decried the "lies and discrimination" faced by their family. Twins D'Lila and Jessie, 18, said losing both parents' presence left them "overwhelmed and lonely."

Exes Dana Tran, Sarah Chapman, and Yung Miami also voiced support. Tran described the toll on their daughter Love, while Chapman praised Diddy's growth behind bars, saying he is now "calmer and drug-free." Yung Miami, who dated him from 2021-2023, called him "loving and supportive," closing her letter with, "Judge ... that's a good man."

Diddy's 84-year-old mother, Janice, pleaded for mercy, saying she wants to spend her remaining years with her only child.

Prosecutors are expected to push for a far harsher sentence, reportedly around five years, while Diddy's attorneys argue that the case involves consenting adults, not trafficking.

"It is time for Mr. Combs to go home to his family," his defense team wrote, calling prosecutors' approach "draconian." The October 3 hearing will determine whether the hip-hop icon spends the holidays at home — or behind bars.
