Fifth Harmony fans were in for a major surprise when the group reunited on August 31 during the Jonas Brothers' concert in Dallas, Texas. Normani, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane stepped back on stage together for the first time in seven years, performing their 2015 hit "Worth It" and their chart-topping single "Work From Home." The four wore matching black outfits and danced in perfect sync, leaving the crowd on their feet.

The group shared a video of the performance on Instagram with the caption, "Where were you on August 31, 2025? Thank you @jonasbrothers for having us. Felt amazing to be back." The post quickly went viral, sparking excitement among longtime fans of the band that was first formed on The X Factor USA in 2012.

While Camila Cabello was absent from the stage, she showed nothing but support for her former bandmates. The singer—who left Fifth Harmony in December 2016 to pursue a solo career—liked the reunion post and commented with four red heart emojis. Her simple but heartfelt gesture made headlines, especially given the history of her departure.

At the time of her exit, the remaining members announced, "After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well." Two years later, in 2018, the group went on an indefinite hiatus, each member pursuing solo projects.

Though the reunion surprised many, hints of a comeback had been circulating for months. In March, Dinah Jane told Billboard, "I love that our fans can reminisce on such good times, and I love that we're getting the credit again. Our music was very impactful at the time, and I feel like it was kind of overlooked, to be honest. So now that it's reviving again on its own it just shows our music speaks for itself." Ally Brooke also teased in 2023 that "some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way."

As for Camila, she has been candid about her decision to leave. "I started distancing myself from the group vision, and it felt like they were still really passionate and into that and so, I was just like, 'I'm not happy here anymore, it doesn't feel aligned,'" she explained on the Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this year.

Whether the reunion marks the start of something permanent remains unclear, but the reaction from fans—and Cabello herself—shows the group's legacy is still alive.
