Miley Cyrus has confirmed what many fans feared—she has no plans to embark on a concert tour, even after releasing her ninth studio album Something Beautiful. The 31-year-old singer, known for her high-energy performances and genre-defying career, made the statement in an interview with Good Morning America, citing concerns for her mental health, vocal strain, and sobriety.

Despite having the physical ability and opportunities to tour, Cyrus said, "I wish I had the desire, but I don't." Her last major tour was for Bangerz in 2014, marking more than a decade since she performed regularly on the road.

The Flowers and Party in the U.S.A singer elaborated that touring poses serious challenges to her sobriety, which she described as a foundational part of her well-being. She also recently disclosed that she suffers from Reinke's edema, a rare condition affecting the vocal cords, making extensive live performances particularly taxing.

While Cyrus has appeared on stage recently—including a notable performance with Beyoncé during the Cowboy Carter show in Paris—she emphasized that maintaining health and creative integrity takes precedence over touring demands.

Cyrus's decision reflects a growing trend in the music industry where artists are openly prioritizing their mental and physical health. Her remarks reignite important conversations about the pressures of fame and the need for more supportive systems within the touring landscape.
