Brad Pitt may be comfortable behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car, but he has drawn a firm line when it comes to death-defying stunts. In an interview with E! News, the 60-year-old Hollywood veteran spoke candidly about his role in the upcoming F1 movie and his views on working with fellow action star Tom Cruise again. Pitt made it clear that he prefers to keep his feet—and his scenes—firmly on the ground.

Referencing Cruise's famous habit of performing his own extreme stunts, such as hanging from airplanes in the Mission: Impossible series, Pitt joked, "I'm not gonna hang my ass off airplanes and stuff like that." When asked whether he would ever collaborate with Cruise again, Pitt quipped that he would consider it "when he does something again that's on the ground." The playful remark reflected Pitt's blend of admiration and self-awareness.

Despite the humorous tone, the respect between the two actors is mutual. Pitt and Cruise, who first shared the screen in Interview with the Vampire, remain friends and occasional rivals. Pitt recalled go-kart races during their time on set in the 1990s, admitting with a grin that Cruise eventually beat him. Cruise, for his part, recently praised Pitt's driving skills and voiced enthusiasm for the upcoming F1 film, calling Pitt a "very good driver."

Pitt's passion for the role extends beyond performance. He revealed that he adheres to a series of personal rituals and superstitions before stepping into a race car. "I always have to get in on the left side," he confessed. "Left shoe first, left glove first, even the seatbelt—they had to buckle me in starting from the left side or we'd do it all over." His attention to detail mirrors the intense precision required in motorsport and speaks to his deep immersion in the role.

The F1 movie, produced in collaboration with Formula 1 itself, has already generated significant buzz. Pitt portrays a seasoned driver returning to the track, with real F1 teams and drivers contributing to the film's authenticity. While he may not be taking to the skies like Cruise, Pitt's dedication to realism on the ground is winning him praise.

At 60, Pitt continues to balance star power, humor, and grounded performance. As his latest project races toward release, fans can expect the actor to deliver high-speed thrills—without any need to dangle from helicopters.
