In the ongoing federal trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs, a former personal assistant, identified under the pseudonym Mia, gave emotional testimony describing years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse while working for the music mogul from 2009 to 2017.

Mia recounted a chaotic and toxic work environment where "the highs were really high and the lows were really, really low." She described numerous incidents of violence, stating, "He's thrown things at me. He's thrown me against the wall. He's thrown me into a pool. He's thrown an ice bucket on my head. He's slammed my arm into a door, and he's sexually assaulted me." The former assistant testified that Combs sexually assaulted her on "more than one" occasion.

She spoke about the suffocating control Combs exerted, including an incident where she was not allowed to lock her bedroom door, recalling Combs saying, "This is my house," and only his security team could lock doors. Mia described how she often stayed at Combs' home and was not permitted to leave without his permission. On one occasion, when she went out after Combs had gone to sleep, his security guards tracked her movements and came to retrieve her.

Mia also detailed the extreme demands of her job, explaining she sometimes worked for five consecutive days without sleep, which caused a physical breakdown. "My hearing went underwater. My equilibrium was off. I had blurred vision," she said. Despite these conditions, she was expected to be constantly available, sometimes staying by Combs' side for more than 20 hours.

One harrowing moment Mia described involved helping Combs' former partner, Cassie Ventura Fine, pack for a trip at Ventura Fine's Los Angeles apartment. Mia testified that an irate Combs entered uninvited and violently attacked Ventura Fine. She said, "Puff caught up to Cass and had her on the ground," but security intervened. Mia added, "I thought he was going to kill her," after Combs threw Ventura Fine onto a bed edge, causing a head injury that left a scar. While Ventura Fine bled on the floor, Combs instructed Mia to call an assistant and say she was "drunk and hit her head." Mia said she complied because she "thought that was the only way to get her help."

Prosecutors allege that Combs orchestrated a sex trafficking and racketeering scheme spanning two decades, forcing women to engage in drug-fueled sexual events. Combs denies the charges, asserting the women's participation was consensual, although his lawyers acknowledge his abusive behavior in some domestic relationships.
Combs faces up to life in prison if convicted on all counts.
