According to Kevin Jonas, the reality of post-tour life hit harder than expected. Following a marathon 130-show global run with his brothers, the 37-year-old musician found himself grappling with an unfamiliar weight — emotional burnout.

The Jonas Brothers wrapped their seventh world tour in Kraków, Poland, on October 16, 2024, concluding a whirlwind schedule that spanned continents. "It was too many," Kevin admitted in an interview with PEOPLE. "All the depression, blues — it's real, especially after a tour." His return flight, riddled with delays and unexpected stops, compounded the exhaustion. "I was already fatigued and burnt out," he recalled. "My wife looked at me and said, 'Something's wrong with you.'"

That moment prompted Kevin to seek therapy. "I had to start talking to someone about how to process the highs and lows," he shared, describing the transition from high-energy shows to sudden stillness as "jarring."

The toll wasn't his alone. His brother Nick Jonas, currently starring in Broadway's The Last Five Years, experiences emotional spillover from his role. "He leaves the theater every night depressed," Kevin revealed. "It's such a heavy show — and I think he takes that emotional weight home."

While Kevin's performances with his brothers are filled with joy and crowd energy, the aftermath leaves a hollow space. "Even when it's mostly fun, it's still hard to come down from," he said. The demanding pace of "THE TOUR," promoting their sixth studio album The Album, challenged their endurance. Spanning over 100 performances, it was one of their most ambitious undertakings to date.

Despite the psychological cost, the band is not slowing down. The Jonas Brothers are gearing up for "JONAS20," a celebratory tour marking two decades in music. The tour begins August 2025 at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, following the conclusion of Nick's Broadway run. "It's gonna be really special," Kevin said. "It's about celebrating the journey and getting back on the road."

Still, Kevin's recent openness adds a sobering layer to the fanfare. His story offers a candid look at what many performers silently face. "It's a lot to carry," he reflected, "and sometimes, you need help setting it down."
