Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx has finally addressed a bizarre internet conspiracy linking rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs to his 2023 medical emergency. The Oscar winner broke his silence during a recent interview and used the opportunity to not only deny the allegations but also poke fun at the wild theories that have circulated online.

In 2023, Foxx was hospitalized after suffering a haemorrhagic stroke caused by a bleed on his brain. The incident left him unconscious for weeks and sparked intense speculation across social media platforms. Among the most shocking claims was that music mogul Diddy had somehow orchestrated the incident. Diddy, who is currently facing serious federal charges including sex trafficking, has denied any involvement in Foxx's health scare.

Speaking at The Hollywood Reporter's Stand-Up Comedy Roundtable, Foxx said he was initially unaware of the speculation until he managed to sneak a phone into his hospital room. "I didn't know what the outside world was saying," he said. "Then I start reading, 'Puffy tried to kill Jamie Foxx.' I couldn't wrap my head around it. I'm in perfect shape, then suddenly I'm unconscious for weeks, and now people think I've been targeted."

Foxx shut down the rumours bluntly: "No, Puffy didn't try to kill me."

He also addressed another peculiar theory — that he had been replaced with a clone. "When they said I was a clone, that made me flip," he joked. "I'm lying in a hospital bed, sedated, and then I read that I've been cloned — and made white — so I'll sell better overseas."
Continuing with his trademark sense of humour, Foxx recounted a conversation with a psychiatrist during his hospital stay. "The psychiatrist asked, 'Are you all right?' I told him, 'Am I all right or am I all white? You're trying to replace me with the white Jamie Foxx, but it ain't happening.'"

Foxx also used his recent Netflix special What Had Happened Was... to reflect on the incident and take some playful jabs at Diddy. Describing his near-death experience, he said, "I saw the tunnel, but not the light. It was hot down there. I thought I saw the devil — or was that Puffy?"

He joked about Diddy's notorious "Freak Off" parties, saying he always made sure to leave early. "I was out by 9 p.m. Something didn't look right. It looked slippery in there."

A source close to Diddy previously told DailyMail.com that there was "no truth" to the speculation surrounding Foxx's hospitalization.
