Luxury carmaker Aston Martin Lagonda said on Monday it planned to sell its minority stake in the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team to help turn around its loss-making core business. At the same time, Aston Martin's main shareholder, the Yew Tree Consortium, plans to raise its stake in the group to 33 percent, a statement said.

Red Bull has confirmed that Yuki Tsunoda will replace Liam Lawson at the senior Red Bull Racing team starting from the Japanese Grand Prix. Lawson, who struggled in the first two races of the 2025 season, will return to Racing Bulls, partnering rookie Isack Hadjar.

Yuki Tsunoda will partner world champion Max Verstappen at the Japanese Grand Prix following Red Bull's decision to sack struggling Liam Lawson after just two races, reports claimed on Tuesday. The 24-year-old Tsunoda will be promoted from Red Bull's sister team RB for his home race at Suzuka on April 4th-6th, Dutch newspaper Telegraaf and French broadcaster Canal+ said.

The ruling comes as a major setback for Ferrari, stripping both drivers of crucial points early in the 2025 season.

Thailand's Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra met Formula 1 chief Stefano Domenicali on Tuesday and said the government would commission a feasibility study into hosting a Grand Prix on a Bangkok street circuit from 2028. Formula 1 already has a crowded schedule of 24 races around the world with four in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Singapore Grand Prix in Southeast Asia.
