Following an arraignment at a downtown Los Angeles courthouse on April 20, 2026, prosecutors revealed that the severity of the charges makes the singer eligible for the death penalty.

Apple has named John Ternus as its next chief executive officer, effective September 1. He will succeed Tim Cook, who is transitioning to the role of executive chairman after a 15-year tenure at the helm. In a news release on Monday, Cook described leading the company as the "greatest privilege" of his life. The move marks the end of one of the most successful CEO runs in the technology industry.

Mariah Carey is not losing sleep over being left out of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

Speaking to TMZ outside a hotel in New York City on April 20, the singer was asked whether she was disappointed about missing out on this year's list of inductees. Her response was simple and unbothered. She said she did not mind and was happy to see other artists receive the recognition instead. She even added that the honor could go to someone else and that it was a good thing.

Following Brooks' rendition of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb," host Ryan Seacrest teased a surprise for the singer.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are continuing their legal battle over their French estate, Château Miraval, with new court filings revealing a dispute over when the trial should take place.

According to court documents, Pitt is pushing for the case to be heard sooner, arguing that delays are affecting his ability to enjoy the property. He claimed he has been deprived of “the quiet enjoyment of his home in France” and urged the court to schedule the trial earlier than 2027.
