Fans of Brazilian music are in deep sorrow over the passing of one of their biggest stars. According to her family's Instagram post, Preta Gil, a Brazilian singer and television host whose real name was Preta Maria Gadelha Gil Moreira, passed away following a two-year fight with colon cancer. She was fifty years old.

Rosie Roche, a cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry, has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities confirmed. The 20-year-old was found dead in her family home in Norton, Wiltshire, on July 14. Her mother and sister discovered her body while she was packing for a trip with friends.
