Pretty Little Liars star Keegan Allen says he was brutally attacked and robbed at gunpoint in West Hollywood, sharing a graphic video of his injuries with fans.
The 37‑year‑old actor, best known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on the hit teen drama, posted footage to Instagram on October 8 showing his bloodied face and head. In the caption, he wrote: "West Hollywood is not safe anymore. Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight. My life for a watch."
Allen explained that the incident happened outside Laurel Supply, a luxury grocery store on Santa Monica Boulevard. "These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off," he said in the video. Surveillance footage included in his post appeared to show two masked men confronting him in the parking lot, with one striking him repeatedly in the head before fleeing with his watch and bracelet.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed it responded to a robbery call in the area around 9:05 p.m. Officials said two suspects dressed in black approached the victim, one pointing a handgun while the other brandished a knife. The victim was struck in the face with the weapon before the men escaped in a vehicle. The Los Angeles County Fire Department treated Allen for a forehead wound, and the actor later told fans he was "def concussed and at the hospital."
Fans flooded his social media with messages of support and Allen responded to several comments, assuring followers he was recovering but had not yet given a full update on his condition.
Allen starred on Pretty Little Liars from 2010 to 2017 before moving on to roles in Walker and The Rookie.
