Kourtney Kardashian has responded to Jennifer Lawrence's comments about her being "more annoying than ever," revealing that the actress later reached out to her with an apology.
The reality star addressed the situation during the season eight premiere of The Kardashians, telling her friend Simon Huck that Lawrence had contacted her after making the remarks during a Vanity Fair lie detector test in November 2025.
During the test, Lawrence said Kardashian "drives me nuts" and criticized her for turning personal choices into public announcements.
"Everything has to be an announcement," Lawrence explained. "I'm not gonna wear outfits anymore. Just wear whatever you want. Don't make an announcement about it. Or, 'I don't have a TV in my room.' Just don't watch TV. Stop announcing it."
Kardashian revealed that Lawrence eventually asked her sister Kim Kardashian for her email address and sent her a message explaining herself.
"She's like, 'I just feel like I'm one of your sisters,'" Kourtney recalled. "And when I rewatched it, I was like, 'Oh, it's not that bad actually.'"
However, Kardashian said the timing of Lawrence's original comments made them harder to take.
"But I'm also like, it was a really sensitive week when she sent it," she said. "I felt like our show was airing and everybody was ganging up on me."
Kardashian also admitted that her initial reaction was much harsher. After her mother, Kris Jenner, mentioned speaking with Lawrence and Emma Stone, Kardashian recalled saying, "F—k that bitch Jennifer Lawrence."
She then told her mother, "OK, [Lawrence] thinks she's one of my sisters? I'll f—king slap the s—t out of her. I was like, 'Invite her over and we can ... I'll go for it like she's my sister.'"
Despite that reaction, Kardashian said Lawrence's email was "so nice." She had not responded yet and joked about sending a message referencing her famous physical fight with Kim on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"I'll just say, 'Next time you wanna come over, we can go at it — Kourtney and Kim style,'" she said.
