The 36-year-old royal was spotted spending time with friends in London's Notting Hill district on Monday, Sept. 7, marking her first public sighting since the birth of her baby daughter.
Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, welcomed their third child, a daughter named Adelaide Elizabeth Annina, on Aug. 3. Adelaide joins the couple's two sons, August Philip Hawke, 5, and Ernest George Ronnie, 3, making the family a party of five.
During her outing in Notting Hill, Eugenie appeared dressed casually and chatted with friends on the sidewalk. She wore a loose black T-shirt, athletic leggings and sneakers, with a colorful oversized coat tied around her waist.
Unlike her first two children, who were born at the Portland Hospital in London, Eugenie gave birth to Adelaide in Portugal, where the family spends part of their time.
Eugenie and Brooksbank began dividing their time between Portugal and the U.K. in 2022 after Brooksbank started a new position working with property businessman Mike Meldman, one of George Clooney's business associates.
Portugal has also become a familiar destination for Eugenie's cousin, Prince Harry, whose family continues to maintain a vacation property there.
Eugenie previously opened up about her life in Portugal during a 2023 appearance on the Table Manners podcast. She described the country as her "dream" and said she appreciated being able to go about her daily routine without worrying about how she looked.
Eugenie's return to Britain comes around the same time her mother, Sarah Ferguson, is also preparing to return to the U.K. after spending several months abroad.
Ferguson has maintained a relatively low profile amid the continuing fallout surrounding her former husband, Prince Andrew, and his links to Jeffrey Epstein. She remained in contact with Eugenie and her older daughter, Princess Beatrice, while awaiting the arrival of Eugenie's baby.
Buckingham Palace announced Adelaide's birth shortly after she arrived at a hospital in Lisbon. The baby was born at 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 3, weighing 6 pounds, 9 ounces.
