Kourtney Kardashian discusses her relationship status with her former partner, Scott Disick. The Kardashians star, who shares Rocky, 23 months, and stepchildren Atiana De La Hoya, 25, Landon Barker, 22, and Alabama Barker, 19, with husband Travis Barker, provided a rare relationship update as the couple continues to co-parent Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 10, after their 2015 breakup.
In a confessional on the October 30 episode of The Kardashians, she said, "It's not easy." "I believe that co-parenting is always about trying to be friendly and doing our best to be in agreement."
The founder of Poosh, who separated from Scott in 2015, talked about family dynamics in more detail with Julia Fox later in the episode.
“Having the parents together is such a dream,” she told the model. “I think about it all the time.”
Fox, who has a 4-year-old son named Valentino with her ex-husband Peter Artemiev, was advised to wait for the "right time" to have another child, but she agreed with the Uncut Gems star that she was handling the situation "really well."
"Yes," Kourtney acknowledged. "And individuals engage in it."
In the meantime, Scott has acknowledged that co-parenting with Kourtney has been "probably one of the more difficult things" in his life, particularly after their nearly ten-year romance.
"I always had her friends or our family in my ear kind of like, 'Don't worry, honey, eventually you guys will figure it out.'" Scott remarked in a 2022 episode of The Kardashians. "And, 'One day, you'll reconcile.'" My foot was always halfway through the door as a result.
The 42-year-old admitted that it was "painful" to watch Kourtney move on with Travis—the two got married in May 2022—but he was more worried about being completely kicked out by the Kardashians.
When it comes to seeing Kourtney and Travis together romantically, Scott said, "I'd rather be around them and be around my family than not at all." He added, "Feeling left out and not being told anything is super hurtful."
