Kim Kardashian is inching closer to officially becoming a lawyer after years of studying law while juggling her career, businesses, and motherhood. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on October 24, the 45-year-old reality star revealed that she is just two weeks away from qualifying to practice law.

"I will be qualified in two weeks," she said, adding that her ultimate dream is to take on courtroom work. "I hope to practice law. Maybe in 10 years, I think I'll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer. That's what I really want."

The Kardashians star also discussed her busy schedule, sharing that she will begin filming her first movie in January and hopes for a second season of her upcoming legal drama All's Fair. "I always want to be growing, curious and evolving, and I want to see wherever that takes me," she told Norton.

Kardashian's journey to becoming an attorney began in 2018 when she started an apprenticeship through California's Law Office Study Program instead of attending traditional law school. The program, which requires four years of supervised study under licensed lawyers, took her six years to complete due to the pandemic and work commitments.

Jessica Jackson, one of her mentors, praised her dedication, noting that she committed "18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years," amounting to more than 5,000 hours of study — all while raising four children, managing multiple businesses, and filming her TV shows.

The SKIMS founder passed the "baby bar" exam in 2021 after three failed attempts and later completed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam earlier this year. She celebrated her law graduation in May surrounded by family, mentors, and friends at a surprise brunch.

Reflecting on her journey in a past social media post, Kardashian described it as an "unconventional path" filled with "moments of doubt, tears, and triumph." She credited perseverance and resilience for keeping her going.

As she awaits her final bar exam results, Kardashian continues balancing her professional ventures. Her acting debut in All's Fair, where she portrays a lawyer, premieres in November alongside Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close.
